These days you can set passwords for almost everything, when you set a password, that password should be known by only you, if you share your password with other people, they will be able to unlock whatever it is you are keeping locked.  Almost everyone uses a password to lock their mobile phones and computers. In this article, we are going to enlighten you on how you can regain access to your iPhone even if you have forgotten your Apple ID.

We already mentioned earlier in this article that if you forget your Apple ID you can still access your iPhone. Now, we are going to show you how you can do so.

  1. Firstly, your device has to be iOS 10 later.
  2. Open settings.
  3. Tap your name.
  4. Then on password and security.
  5. Lastly, tap change password. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setting up your new password.
  6. If you use iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap iCloud the follow steps 4 and 5.

If you enabled two-factor authentications for your Apple ID then you can change your password from any trusted iOS device.
