JAMB Profile: How to Create JAMB Profile for 2020 UTME

Creating and Maintaining a JAMB Profile: Are you studying for the JAMB exam in 2020? Do you want to learn how to make a JAMB profile on the JAMB CAPS and Efacility portals? The steps and instructions for building your JAMB profile for the upcoming UTME are as follows.

Please take notice that registration for the 2019 JAMB UTME will begin on January 13th. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2019 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will begin on January 13th, 2020. In addition, the JAMB exam for 2019 is set to begin on March 14th, 2020. So, if you don’t already have a JAMB profile, you can do so right away.

How to Create JAMB Profile on JAMB Efacility Website

Before you can enter the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) E-facility portal to perform any actions, you must first create a profile. Printing a JAMB result slip, printing an admission letter, applying for a change of course or institution, correcting records, checking admission status, applying for regularization, and so on are all examples of actions.

JAMB Registration Date 2021 2022 Announced and Makes NIN compulsory

Step 1: Verifying Your Email Address
  1. Visit the official JAMB website. A log-in button is located next to the Post registration facility.
  2. Log in by clicking the Log In button. A new tab will appear on your browser.
  3. If you don’t have an email address, now is a good time to get one. You can do so by signing up for a Gmail account.
  4. To begin creating your JAMB profile, click the Create New Account button. You will be asked to confirm your email address. The screenshot is shown below.
  5. Pick a security question from the drop-down menu by clicking select. You may use the security question “What is the name of your childhood friend?” as an example. Note that security questions can be used as an additional layer of security to check your identity if appropriate.
  6. Enter the same answer in the last two spaces (Secret question answer). If your childhood friend’s name was Mike, fill in the last two spaces and press the verify button.
  7. A dialog box will appear (see screenshot below) asking you to confirm your email address. If the box you see does not look exactly like the one below, your email is having problems. Before you can create your JAMB profile, you must first create and validate a new email address.
  8. Open your inbox and check for an email from “noreply@jamb.gov.ng.” Check your spam folder if you don’t find the email under notifications. Relax if you somehow can’t find it. It can take a long time for anything to arrive. The subject line of the email should read “email Address Confirmation.”
  9. To continue your profile creation, open the email and click the link that says “Click here to continue your profile creation.” In that email, there is also a special code that was sent to you. Please do not delete the email, and you can copy the unique code to a safe place. When you go to the CBT Centre to register, you’ll need this code. Take a look at the screenshot below to see what the email looks like.utme score
Step 2: Signing Up as a New User

If you clicked the connection in the previous phase or entered the confirmation code sent to you on the JAMB email validation form, your email has been checked, and you can now proceed with the development of your JAMB profile. On the next tab, you’ll find a form to fill out with your personal information.

  1. Fill in all the information as provided by the form. Your surname, first name, middle name, date of birth (day, month and year), your phone number, nationality, state, LGA and Password for your JAMB profile. See what the form looks like in the screenshot below:
  2. On the Last two Boxes, Create a Password that you can remember and Repeat it on the Next Box.
  3. Please ensure you crosscheck all the above information, because if you don’t, it may cost you to change it in future.
  4. Once you are sure of all the above information, click on “Sign Up”.
  5. That’s all, your profile will be created immediately. You should see a message that says “Your Account Creation Was Successful.”
  6. You can click on “Proceed to Login” to access your new JAMB profile. With your new JAMB profile, you can perform any of the actions talked about above when the need arises.
In Summary:
  1. Visit http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ValidateeMail.
  2. Supply the required information.
  3. Click on the ‘Verify e-Mail‘button.
